Safari West, a wildlife preserve in Santa Rosa, California, is a wonderful day trip to consider when visiting the San Francisco Bay Area. The animals chiefly originate from Africa and a covered safari vehicle takes you over the terrain to view them in a habitat modeled after their own. These vehicles can at times bring you up-close and personal to these incredible beasts!
