Fist Afternoon in Guatemala

A Mother-Daughter Journey to Guatemala – January 2014

My daughter, Jacque, and I spent two weeks in Guatemala in January 2014. Along with some spectacular sights, we had the wonderful good fortune to interview and photograph women recipients of the Kateri Tekakwitha: Mission Guatemala Fund. Jacque is involved with this nonprofit organization and was able to find out exactly what the recipients thought of the organization and the assistance they had been given. And, we heard howler monkeys!!! This trip inspired many posts which are still to come. For now, I hope you to give you and introduction to Guatemala and hope you can see and experience the beautiful colonial city of  Antigua through our eyes and hearts!
