Signs at Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lantau Island

Our tour bus took us onto a narrow closed-to-the-public road so that we could make a stop at Cheung Sha Beach and have a restroom break (and, for me, a popsicle from the small snackstand nearby). It is a beautiful beach and I was quite intrigued by its signage. For example, take a look at the sign with the special flag warnings, including the one for shark sightings. That quickly got my attention! But, fortunately, there are protective shark nets that keep swimmers safe. Here’s a few more signs. Watch out for UV radiation and don’t litter! And, avoid those kites and flying discs!
