I’ve hit on a series that hits back hard, keeping me engrossed and coming back for more. This British-genre mysteries authored by a prolific American writer are un-put-downable! The BBC agrees and has created the Inspector Lynley Mysteries television series based on George’s books as the photo above attests to. (I steadfastly refuse to watch any of these episodes,however, until I’ve finished every last one of the now 19 books in the series!)

If one cannot be in London or its environs, reading George’s complex and satisfying novels are the next best thing. But, if one can be in London or the UK, why not take one of mysteries along for the ride?
