This is a trip combining two of the driving forces in my life: nursing and travel, and it is a gift, indeed, when I can combine the two. I spent a week in Hong Kong 3 days of which I attended the International Council of Nurses International Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse Network Conference. (I know, super-long name. Ah, well.) The rest of my short visit I spent taking a few tours and exploring this fascinating area. It’s China, but not quite China. It’s Southeast Asia, but with an Anglicized edge. Everyone speaks English. The food is grand. The high rises certainly looked like they could scrape the sky!
