Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris – Photo Gallery of the Exterior

6 August 2014

Notre Dame is just across the Seine from Shakespeare and Company, on Île de la Cité, so it made good sense to go. The interior was closed but the wonderful exterior architecture was there for the taking (photos, that is)! See if you can find gargoyles, rose windows, and flying buttresses. (Go ahead, say it out loud: “flying buttresses.” See all you needed was a little support…Get it? Flying buttresses? Support? Ah, well…)

    • You have almost got it! “C’est” magnifique would be the optimal way to spell it. I’ll always support you any way I can, Darlene.
Your flying buttress, er, I mean, your friend,
